State Requirements

British Columbia – General contractors must complete a minimum of 20 CPD points related to the residential construction industry. Points can be earned through training, from research and education development, or a combination of both. You can earn two CPD points per hour of formal learning and one CPD point per hour of informal learning.  Click here for more information.

Florida – All contactors are required to obtain 14 hours of continuing education every 2 years. Click here for more information

Massachusetts Construction Supervisor License (CSL) – As a licensed construction supervisor in the state of Massachusetts, you must complete either 10 or 12 hours of continuing education every two-years, depending on your classification. Click here for state information.

Massachusetts Hoisting – Licensed hoisting operators are required to complete CE every 2 year.  Click here for state information.

North Carolina – Licensed contractors need 8 hours of annual CE, consisting of 2 hours of law updates and 6 elective hours. Click her to learn more.

Oregon – Oregon Residential Contractors are required to obtain CE every other year. If you have been licensed for more than 6 years, you need to complete 8 hours. For those that are less than 6 years, you need to complete 16 hours. Click here to learn more.

Rhode Island – All residential contractors, including contractors who perform both residential and commercial work, are required to obtain 2.5 hours of continuing education prior to each annual renewal. Click here to learn more.
