Yes. All courses above have been pre-approved for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points for licensed residential builders in British Columbia. The number of CPD points available is listed with each course.
How many CPD points will I receive for each course?
The number of CPD points varies by course and will always be clearly displayed in the course description. Our currently available British Columbia courses are each worth 2 CPD points.
How quickly can I start my course?
You can begin your online course immediately after completing your purchase. There is no need to wait for a scheduled class date.
Are the courses completely online?
Yes. Our online courses can be completed from your computer, tablet, or other compatible device with an internet connection. You can complete your training without traveling to a classroom.
Do I have to complete the course all at once?
No. You can work through your online course at a pace that fits your schedule. Your progress is saved so you can leave the course and return when it is convenient for you.
Is there a final exam?
No. Our current British Columbia CPD courses do not have a final exam. You simply need to complete the required course material to receive your certificate of completion.
What happens after I complete my course?
Once you have completed the course requirements, you can download your certificate of completion. Keep a copy of your certificate for your records.
Does 24hour Contractor report my CPD points to BC Housing?
No. Licensed residential builders are responsible for reporting their completed CPD through the Licensed Residential Builders Portal. We provide you with a certificate of completion that you can use to document your training.
